  • ILAC underpins global trade by ensuring that test / calibration results are accepted across international borders.
  • ILAC operates with a  MRA, i.e. Mutual Recognition Arrangement.  Its guiding principle is “accredited once, accepted everywhere.”

ILAC is merging with the International Accreditation Forum. The GACI [Global Accreditation Corporation Incorporated] is the new single accreditation body. The aim is to improve international acceptance and recognition of accredited conformity assessment results across borders. A NEW GACI MRA MARK IS COMING SOON. The new Mark will replace the ILAC-MRA Mark currently on A2LA Accreditation.
